In the middle of the 19th century, Louis François Cartier took over the jewelery studio of his teacher in Paris, thus laying the foundations for an outstanding French jewelry company that has no equal.
From the end of the 19th century, the founder's son produced the first Cartier wristwatches, and in 1904, the first Cartier pilot's watch was made for the Brazilian pilot Santos Dumont, marking the beginning of one of Cartier's most successful wristwatch models - the Santos.
However, the most famous Cartier watch is likely to be the model tank, which is still manufactured today in a variety of variants.
Also, we always try to have a small but fine selection of vintage Cartier watches in stock
